Policies

The following terms and conditions need to be agreed upon by all persons that are guests of Creative Cottage.

Because we have many excited folks ready to make hot plans to get busy on their scrapbook or sewing projects, the nature of planning for retreats and making reservations is important. Please note the following:

A $300 deposit is required to reserve your space at Creative Cottage.
All balances are due 30 days prior to the retreat. If the balance is not received 30 days prior to the retreat, your reservation will be cancelled and the deposit will be forfeited. Payments in full cannot be refunded but can be applied to a future retreat date.
Reservations cancelled before 60 days of the retreat are eligible for a refund of any money paid minus a 6% processing fee.
If you cancel your weekend with less than 60 days notice, you forfeit your deposit unless a replacement group can be found. If a replacement group is found, your deposit will be applied to a future retreat date.
If there is a cancellation requiring a refund, Creative Cottage will retain 6% of the refund for a processing fee.
Any individual cancellation with less than 30 days notice will receive a 50% refund if Creative Cottage is able to find a replacement. If Creative Cottage is unable to find a replacement, no refund will be given.
If Creatiave Cottage fills-in missing persons on a consultant's minimum requirement of 13, the consultant is no longer eligible to receive gratis accommodations.
If a deposit is made with a credit card, then the balance will automatically be charged to the same card 30 days prior to the scheduled retreat date unless other arrangements have been made.

Changes are accepted at the sole discretion of Creative Cottage owners.

Checks should be made payable to Creative Cottage.

Other Items:

Minor Repairs/Accidents
- Please let us know right away if you have any problems with the plumbing, air conditioners, heater or appliances. We want you to have the best time possible with your friends.
- In the event something gets broken, please either contact us or leave a note in the comments/suggestions box so it can be taken care of for the next guests. However, you will be responsible for any excessive damage to the property, the house or its contents. An itemized list of damages and an invoice for the repairs will be sent to the renter payable immediately.
- Creative Cottage is not responsible for theft or loss.
- Creative Cottage is a non-smoking facility and sorry no cute little pets can join you at the retreat.
From time to time computer or internet service interruptions are possible. We will attempt to resolve the issues as soon as possible, but some issues are beyond our control (internet service) at times and we regret any inconvenience experienced.
We want you to have a wonderful and fun experience at Creative Cottage. If there's anything we can do to make your time in our lovely retreat even better just let us know.
